Premium Ticket Questions What is Premium Ticket?
Premium Ticket is a subscription-based content service on college team and recruiting sites throughout the Rivals.com Network. Premium Ticket allows users access to a greater range of stories, recruiting updates, exclusive articles and features. Premium Ticket content goes beyond the scope of what is provided in free news areas. It gives users a much more comprehensive view of the subject matter and is a great source of insider information you won't find in the mainstream media.

How can I tell which stories are Premium stories?
There are two kinds of Premium Ticket content on Rivals.com: Premium and Recruiting. Premium content is published by the team site, and it will be marked with a red ticket logo like this: . Sometimes you'll find premium content from one team site appearing on a different team site, and it will be marked with a blue ticket logo like this: . Premium content requires a subscription to that site, or an Ultimate Ticket (Ticket D) subscription to any site on Rivals.com. Recruiting content is published by our Rivals.com Recruiting Experts, and will include our world-class prospect database, and it will be marked with a blue ticket logo like this: . Recruiting content requires an Ultimate Ticket (Ticket D) subscription to any site on Rivals.com.

Will my Premium Ticket subscription give me access to Special Edition stories?
No. Premium Ticket and Special Edition are separate entities. Some sites may offer subscription plans of both types, but purchasing a Premium Ticket plan will not get you access to Special Editoin content, and vice versa.

Recruiting Bundle Questions Is the recruiting information from the Rivals.com recruiting experts a premium service?
Yes. With the Ultimate Ticket (Ticket D) you get exclusive access to the top team of recruiting experts in the business. Great analysts and reporters like Bobby Burton, Jeremy Crabtree, Mike Sullivan, Bill Kurelic, Mike Farrell and the rest of the team will provide you with endless updates on your favorite team, conference and region of the country. The information from the network recruiting analysts, including rankings and breaking news, are all part of the premium services, requiring subscriptions to the Ultimate Ticket.

Can I subscribe to my favorite recruiting site only?
All Premium Ticket subscriptions are processed at the team site level. You can go through the signup process on your favorite recruiting site, but you will be asked to pick a team site to assign your subscription. You'll get all the access on that team site that you would enjoy if you had subscribed there.

Special Edition Questions What is Special Edition?
Special Edition is a collection of more specialized premium content, requiring a separate subscription plan. Many print publications will offer the online version of their magazine as Special Edition content, while producing other premium content unique to the website as Premium Ticket.

How can I tell which stories are Special Edition stories?
All Special Edition stories on Rivals.com are marked with a gold "S" logo like this: . However, your specific Special Edition plan will only give you access to Special Edition content described in the plan.

Will my Special Edition subscription give me access to Special Edition content on other sites?
No. Special Edition plans target only very specific Special Edition content. You will find Special Edition content on the network that is not covered by your plan. Consult the specifics of your plan to determine what you get with your Special Edition subscription.

Will my Special Edition subscription give me access to Premium Ticket stories?
No. Premium Ticket and Special Edition are separate entities. Some sites may offer subscription plans of both types, but purchasing a Premium Ticket plan will not get you access to Special Editoin content, and vice versa.

Premium Board Questions How do I sign up for Premium Boards?
Signing up for a site that offers Premium Boards is easy and only takes a few steps. If you want to sign up right away, click here to subscribe now. Your subscription needs to be Team Ticket or higher to access premium boards on your team site. Some sites offer premium boards with their Special Edition plans.

Does my Ultimate Ticket (Ticket D) subscription give me access to all premium boards?
No. Ultimate Ticket subscribers have access to the premium boards on the site through which they signed up. Users who wish to have access to premium boards on multiple sites will need to have separate subscriptions for each site. Ultimate Ticket subscribers DO have access to all premium CONTENT on all sites, however.

If I am a paying Premium Boards member, can a site administrator still ban me from his board?
Site publishers and administrators can ban anyone whom they deem to be disruptive or offensive to the community, and this includes paying subscribers. Premium Boards are intended to promote a high level of discussion, and the nature of each community and its standards are wholly defined by the site's publisher. Being banned from ANY board on a site will ban you from that site's premium boards, as well, even if you are a paying member.

If I am banned from a board, will my subscription automatically be cancelled?
Only a user can make changes to his or her subscription, including cancellation. If you are banned, you will still need to terminate your own account. Click here to find out how to cancel. After cancellation occurs, your username and password will continue to allow you access to premium areas until the term of your subscription has expired. At the end of the subscription term, your login account will be terminated and you will NOT be billed for a new subscription. You MUST cancel more than 48 hours before your renewal date to avoid getting renewed for an additional month.

Will I ever see spam on Premium Boards?
Because Premium Boards require users to pay for the ability to post, spam is highly unlikely to appear on these boards. In addition, the site administrator will delete such posts and ban the spammer, making the cost of repeated spamming extremely high. By signing up for a Premium Board, users further insulate themselves against spam and other garbage posts.

Can I expect a better discussion on the Premium Boards than on the free message boards?
While this can't be guaranteed, it is likely that Premium Boards will have a higher level of discussion and will contain few, if any, off-topic posts. Premium Boards are the home of the truly serious fan.

Login Questions How often must I enter my login and password to access premium areas?
Your username and password is stored in a "cookie" in your browser. As long as you do not delete the cookie by reformatting your hard drive, installing a new browser, etc., you will only be asked to login once per day.

My username/password doesn't work. What should I do?
Be sure you are typing your username and password EXACTLY as sent to you in your subscription notification email. PLEASE use the resend password link to have your username and password resent to your email account. If the resend link recognizes your email address, it means that your account is active and 100 percent operational. If your email address is not recognized by this tool, it is likely that your account is not currently valid.

The system is not allowing me to enter my username and password. It is telling me that I do not have access to the site. What do I do?
First, please read this complete FAQ concerning usernames and passwords. In some cases, users will need to clear their cookies and start over. Our site is reading your cookie, which needs to be reset with your new or upgraded subscription. This occurs for some new subscriptions, upgrades, and some renewals. Try manually deleting your cookie. First, print these instructions, and then close all instances (windows) of your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher (including AOL 4.0), open your c:/windows/cookies folder and delete all files that contain "Premium Ticket' and/or 'AllianceSports" in their name. If you are using Netscape, open the cookies.txt in your Netscape program folder, and delete all lines that contain "Premium Plus' and/or 'Rivals." Then reboot and re-open your browser. You should be asked to login again, and this should resolve the problem.

Do the message forums and the premium services require a separate password?
Rivals.com has created a "universal registration" system. Once a user establishes an account, their username and password can be used for ALL of our many services. Therefore, if you already have a FREE message forum, that same username and password can be used to gain access to the Premium Ticket once you have completed our simple premium signup process.

How many different computers will my username and password work from?
Recognizing that most users have a computer at home and work and may utilize a laptop as well, Rivals.com has setup the system to accept each individual username and password from a maximum of THREE different computers.

Signup Questions How do I sign up for Premium Ticket or Special Edition?
Signing up is easy and only takes a few steps. If you want to sign up right away, you can click here to begin the process. Or, you can click the "Premium Signup" link found on the left column of your favorite Rivals.com site. You can also reach the sign-up screen by clicking on any premium story link, and following the directions.

I'm told there's already an account using my email address. What do I do?
Rivals.com uses a "Universal Registration" system. Put simply, that means if you've registered with us before -- to post on the free message boards, for instance -- then you are already a member. You won't need to create a second membership to sign up for Premium Ticket or Special Edition. So make sure that you've logged in FIRST, then subscribe. Your one membership (and your one login and one password) will give you access to all the free content PLUS all the content that you've paid for. If you're not already a member, don't worry...our system will create your membership as part of the subscription process.

When I enter my credit card number it won't take my information. What do I do?
We take your credit card information over a secure connection, and that part of the process takes a little more time. Once you've entered your credit card info, you'll come to a transition screen, and finally to the confirmation screen. Until you reach the confirmation screen, give the system a minute or so if necessary to process your order. If you click "Submit" or "Continue" again while you are waiting, you may be double-billed! If you are convinced you are still not getting signed up properly, email us at subs@rivals.com or call our office during normal business hours at 615.507.1017.

What different subscription packages are offered with the Rivals.com Premium Ticket?
There are four different Premium Ticket packages available. Not all sites will offer all four packages. Some sites will offer Special Edition packages as well. You can get pricing information on each site.

Team Ticket
Club Pass
Exclusive premium content and inside information from your favorite team site, PLUS we'll throw in exclusive access to your favorite team site's Premium Message Boards.
Ultimate Ticket
Get your favorite team site's premium message board and unlimited access to ALL premium content on the Rivals.com college and recruiting network, plus, of course, access to your team site's premium message boards.

I heard about a free trial, but when I attempt to sign up for it, the system is asking for credit card information. How do I get my free access?
From time to time, we offer free trial subscriptions on premium sites. To obtain a free trial membership during these periods, you must have a valid credit card. As a courtesy, we automatically charge your card to renew your subscription after the conclusion of the free trial, unless you cancel your subscription at least 48 hours before the end of the trial period. Please note that the presence of a free trial and the length of a free trial can vary from site to site.

Billing Questions Does my subscription automatically renew at the end of the billing period?
For your convenience, Premium Ticket subscriptions (and Special Edition subscriptions unless specifically marked otherwise) automatically renew -- and your credit card is automatically charged -- at the end of the term. Subscribers must cancel subscriptions at least 48 hours prior to renewal or their accounts will automatically be extended for another period. It is up to the user to cancel his or her account using the cancellation link. You will continue to have access to premium areas until the term of your subscription has expired. At the end of the subscription term, your login account will be terminated and you will NOT be billed for a new subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Click here to find out how to cancel. You can also find the cancellation link on the Member Services page on your favorite Rivals.com site. After cancellation occurs, your username and password will continue to allow you access to premium areas until the term of your subscription has expired. At the end of the subscription term, your login account will be terminated and you will NOT be billed for a new subscription. You MUST cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date to avoid being renewed for the following month.

How do I keep my subscription from automatically renewing at the end of the term?
Click here to go to Member Services and cancel your subscription. By canceling your subscription at least 48 hours before your next renewal date, your username and password will continue to allow you access to premium areas until the term of your subscription has expired. At the end of the subscription term, your login account will be terminated and you will NOT be billed for a new subscription.

If I've cancelled my subscription. Can I get a refund?
No. Rivals.com does not refund for unused portions of subscriptions. When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current subscription term.

Access Questions Do my username and password work on premium sections of other sites on the Rivals.com network?
Users that subscribe to the Ultimate Ticket ($9.95 per month) have access to ALL Premium Ticket content on the Rivals.com Network, plus access to one site's premium message boards. Team Ticket subscribers are limited to access on their team site. Special Edition subscribers are limited to the content specified by their specific package.

My Premium Ticket password and username won't work for premium boards. Why not?
Your Premium Ticket username and password will give you access to post on a Premium Board only if you've purchased a Premium Boards membership (Team Ticket or Ultimate Ticket) for the site in question.

I've subscribed to the Ultimate Ticket. Can't I have access to all premium boards?
No. The Ultimate Ticket gives you access to all premium content -- including all recruiting content and the recruiting database -- but it only gives you access to the premium boards on the team site you signed up with. You CAN subscribe to Team Ticket plans on other sites to gain access to their premium boards.

I've subscribed to my team site, but there are some premium stories there that I can't access. Why?
Team sites might be displaying Special Edition content, or content from the Rivals.com Recruiting Experts, or even premium content from other team sites! In order to access Special Edition content, you'll need a Special Edition subscription that covers that content. In order to access Recruiting content, you will need an Ultimate Ticket subscription to any site. To Access premium content from a different team site, you will need either a subscription to that team site, or an Ultimate Ticket subscription on any site.
